Raw MDF
Medium density fiberboard: standard, Deep Plus and moisture-resistant
Kronospan MDF is made from wood fibres bonded with resin under heat and pressure, then sanded to a very fine surface. It is a non-load-bearing board for dry interiors and an excellent base for painting, veneering, laminating and foiling.
Moisture-resistant MDF (type MDF.HLS to EN 622-5, with a green core) adds load-bearing performance in humid conditions, for kitchens, bathrooms, skirting and window boards.
In stock: Deep Plus 18 mm, standard 8 mm and 18 mm, and moisture-resistant 18 mm.

Key data
Thickness and density
Density tells you how the board will machine, hold screws and take paint. Higher density means a harder, smoother edge for routing and spray finishes.
